Driving with 460cc

I am driving quite well for my age with a Ping G15 driver. I set a lowish tee. However, I have just read that with this type of driver a high tee should be used. How will I then hit this with confidence without skying the ball? I suppose I could stand back a bit but don't think that would help my confidence with this thing.

i usually set my ball height so the ball is about 1/4 - 1/3 above the head of the club. I find compared to others my tee height is relateivey neutral. not high, not low. i usually set the ball up so it's on the outerside of the centre of the club head. mentally, don't think the ball is higher, just swing normally and let the club head do what it does.

Why do you set up with ball towards outside of club?
