anyone heard of these clubs by KRANK golf?? www.krankgolf.com They make some crazy claims on the site.. and crazy Testimonials.

And if its too good to be true... then? it is...right? But I like the look of the driver pictures (red) and It seems a good deal... cuz... I have to have a Cuztom SHaft, length and flex because im 6'6" So thats all included for $199 plus a free Fairway wood. ANd im finding Zero Name brand Drivers for under 200 with Custom Setup...?

THe only one I have found that is close... is the Bang Bang-O-Matic Driver from www.grgolf.net with custom specs...

Anyone have any Suggestions or thrid party Reviews (that are NOT on the krank website) I would appriciate it.

1) I didn't realize that Bang qualified as name brand.

2) Any clubmaker should be able to custom fit a driver for you.

Well after wasting my money on a used Taylor made... I said &#$% it and ordered the RedHotChiliPepper with free 3W. They will be here on tuesday.

I will let you all know how it goes when I do hit this thing.. there is snow on the ground and its -11*f here in colorado so It might be a bit.

A Driver and 3 Wood with custom specs and choice of any shaft needs and grip needs for $218 shipped. Is tight! Thats less than most of my friends paid for there tools of choice.

A CUSTOMER SEVICE NOTE:
I was personally called multiple times by Vinny a guy working at Krank. He talked at length with me about my game, the drivers I have hit and all my normal problems etc... HE was VERY knowlegable about clubfitting, Iam 6'6" and understand the fitting process because I have to go through it ALL THE TIME

He said If I did not like anything about the club at all I can send it back for fixxing for freeee.

Okay everyone here is the Skinny. on the club nobody on this site has even heard of or bothered replying about.

This Club is the best driver I have hit.. I stacked it up back to back on my practice hole, with the some demo; Ping G5 and the big bertha and T5 and my old Wilson Zip Kmart special.

It out performs them all! Straight as an arrow and LONG AS POOP! i can fly it 310 without breaking a sweat! i am a "mile high altitude" so I assume flying it 290ish+ at sea level. If I KRANK it up... it goes further. Its a sexy looking club. ferrari red and the Hanely shaft is Perfect!
grip sucks. I will change soon.

WOrth the money! im impressed with the service! Getting a free 3wood that goes further than my old driver isnt too bad either!

Are the clubs on GR Golf really comparable to the real brands? I wonder how many of you out there are using such clubs? Are these what they call clone clubs?

I use some clubs i got from GR. I use the VRG that is Clone of the VFT call. they seem very similar to the real thing! but they do sometimes use differnet materials.

GR clubs are of the highest quality. and okay turn around time.

You cannot beet the deal on all the clubs on the site! Mine were 170 total! with custom Shafts and grips.

It's great to know that there are other options out there than all those advertised brands, but I wonder if I will be able to get them in Singapore too, or if I would have to make arrangements to ship them from the US.

The RHCP driver/woods look really good. Wish I had a chance to try them out

I had the same concerns... I wanted to try this driver out before I bought it, but I called Krank and they talked to me at length about my swing and my tendencys etc... After a few emails back and fourth and me pricing every name brand driver I could Hit or Afford! i was discusted with having to pay 300+ dollars for a decent TECHnology driver.

I can tell you im 6'6" so EVERY club has to be custom fit to me. So it adds to the cost of any namebrand head...

Krank Made sure it is right and also garanteed that if anything happens or you want to make a change... send it back and they will do it for free.

Its not for everyone but I went with the LONG drive CHamps!

Good luck. if your looking for a HIGH swing speed driver then the Bang-O-matic and BANGSTER from BANG golf are NICE! but also not really a name brand club.

I am looking at this driver as well. I am in the market for a new one and after some reading around, people are saidingthat is a great club. How long have u had it and did you have to change your swing in anyway?

It has been a while since I made that last post. I have now owned the RHCP and 3W all this season and played with them about 10 times. When I was looking at the club I noticed nobody had reviewd the thing off of the site! so I was WOrried it was a bunch of bullarky... let me assure you this club has it all! I have increased my distance about 25 yards on average and more on the GOOD ones. . and my accuracy is WAY way WAY! better.

Not only did I not have to change my swing for this driver but I found it easier to swing than my old driver(S). I remember having to change my swing for my other drivers from my normal Long iron swings and all... this club is the BOMB it works if you hit down on it a lot and it works better if you hit slightly up on it. The smooth face design is KILLER looking and looks like a mirror! and the Top of the club is really pretty.. Every time I take it our my 3Wood out I get comments on where I found a red club? I have been coming up with catchy answers to the same questions I get evertime.

I recomend it for anyone who has a decent Swing speed. and for anyone with a KILLER swing speed! its THE ONLY CHOICE other than BANGSTER and BANG-O-Matic.

Btw! the 3wood is my favoret club, I have ever hit or owned. I take it off any tight p4 or long approach!! its PURE silk.

I would recomed just replaceing the Grips on these clubs when you get them... To save money they come with Golf Pride, ****o grips... mine are basicly worn out from practice and 10 rounds. Some red and Black WINN grips are what Im ordering!!
