  • Low line driver shots

I have been hitting my driver decent but a lot of my shots are line drives. They go about 230 a pop, but how can I fix this line drive?

My guess is that you are just catching the ball towards the bottom of the club. Imagine a blade shot with an iron but you are hitting it with a driver. I am 90 percent sure that is what is happening.

i make sure that the top of the driver is level with the equator of the ball and that ive dropped the right shoulder so im sweeping upwards at the ball
      hope this helps

I was thinking about this on my run today.

I know it seems obvious, but you probably want to check the position of the ball in your swing. Make sure it is off your left heel. I thought I was playing the ball off my left hill, at minimum, for my driver but was surprised when my wife took a picture of me setting up with a driver at address. If the ball is any further back than that you most definitely are not sweeping up like you need to.

If it is just every now and then, then I would guess you are just thinning it.
