Sounds like your coming abit over the top, concentrate on hitting the inside quarter of the golf ball.

So when looking at the ball look at the inside quarter and try and hit that part of the ball.

          Hey,

This is only my ninth month of golf, but try and swing slower so you can see what you are doing wrong. Or you can go to a professional at your golf course and ask for help. Or you can make small swings with the driver and gradually go to the full swing.

You might want to check and make sure do not have too much tension in your hands, and arms. If you do it will be difficult for your hands, and arms to work well with your upper body. When this happens your upper body, right shoulder, can get out run your club head on the down swing. When this happens the heel of the club is moved closer to the ball, since you are most likely pushing the club away on the down swing.

If this is the problem, try standing with your feet together, and just make swings with your hands, and arms. This is what is lacking in the problem above.

Something to think about. What if a driver had been designed to have a hosel, and no heel? You'd probably see an infomercial on an "F2-Driver" GJS
