Club Open Champ.
Boys, I won my club's open championship on 30th May 2008.
The match went to the 34th hole. I won 4 n 2.
After the 18th I was 2 down.
The last 19 holes - my opponent only won 3, me 9 and the other 7 were halved.
What got me over the line - my short game. There were only 4-5 chips/pitches that I was not happy with.
I hit 3 of the 14 fairways on the first 18. I hit 7 from the 12 fairways on the last 16.
Two weeks leading in the champs I did not practice my long game. I purely focused on my short game.
I am stoked.
