I don't know why this amuses me but it does. Did you know that the number of times a week you play golf can reveal your age? For everyone, everytime, totally accurately.
Don't believe me then read on but don't scroll to the bottom just yet; the more mathematically challenged amongst you might like to grab a calculator or open a spread sheet.
1. First of all, how many times a week do you play golf?
2. Because we'd all like to play more then multiply this number by 2
3. And add 5 just for luck. and then multiply the new number by 50.
4 Had your birthday already this year? then add 1759. Not yet? then add 1758.
5. Now subtract the four digit number of the year you were born e.g. 1988
6. The last two digits of the result reveal your age.
