USA disappoints no one

Watching the Ryder made me realize how much Woods, Kuchar and Michelson are overrated; these guys act like they don't care at all about playing well at the Ryder Cup. With so many really gung ho young players in our country, the only reason Pavin picked the three mentioned here is the ticket sales they bring.
If we really wanted to win, why would we pick guys to play on our team who don't care.
We are going to get our a**es whipped on Monday's singles and we will deserve it.

Yes I think the USA need to have a look at their selection policy. They need to pick guys that are more suited to the type of format that is Ryder Cup. Some guys just don't fire in match play and team event type golf.

Not sure what the solution is but there must be a better way of picking guys than just based on how they have played in stroke events for the past 12 months.

What a great week. Star of the tourny was Ricky Fowler! What guts and a pure class act to birdie the last 4 holes to half the match. He will be what the US needs for future wins.

i though Ricky Fowler played out his skin the last 4 holes. i also thought Clink and Stricker were really strong for the USA. you could see how much it meant to Mahan after the game as he could not talk and broke down. how many times has playing golf meant so much to that guy. in the past we have said the USA don't really want to win as much as Europe but i don't think it was like that this time. the wanted the win as much as Europe.
Good all round performence from Europe and great for golf worldwide.

Westwood was an inspiration to the Euro team, he will make a great Ryder Captain one day.

I would say the same for Cynk with the US team.
