  • Thoughts on Super Game Improvement Clubs

I have been a "beginner" for about a decade. I have only recently had time to work on my game. I have been playing with an inexpensive set of Dunlap clubs that are about 15 years old, and I consistently score around 100. I recently had the opportunity to use a friends adams a2 os hybrids off the tee, and they seemed amazingly easy to hit. I decided to do some reading, and it seems as though the game improvement clubs might be perfect for a game like mine. Any thoughts?

    More info on my game

I have been using 3 (215) and 4 (195) irons off the tee.
I tend to hook the ball
    Wildly inconsistent short game

As far as "game improvement clubs" are concerned, to one degree or another, the pros use them. Why not the rest of us. Clubs alone may help, but nothing helps more in my opinion, than lessons on the basics for beginners before those bad habits creep in.
    Best of luck..

      Adams makes some tremendous clubs.

There are super GI clubs available today that simply didn't exist 10 years ago.

As you will have noticed a lot of pro golfers on the senior, ladies', Nationwide, PGA and other tours use Adams clubs, and not only the hybrids. Some use the whole set. As for hybrids, they are the most used manufacturer on the tours.

As I understand it, Adams does not pay endorsement fees, although I'm sure there are other privileges.

Adams makes models for all levels of golfers, including pro models and game improvement models, so you have a choice.

I have one A4OS Boxer and one of their fairway clubs with the boxer design, both game improvement models.
