how often do you play golf?

hi guys, i am a beginner,usually play golf with my friends on weekends , i am wondering how about you?

I try to get 54 holes a week minumum. But I am retired and the old lady makes me go!

If you are just out to have a good time, then golfing whenever you have time and friends with whom you can play is fine.
But if you really are looking to improve your game - get that handicap down a bit - then I believe you have to play at least twice a week, possibly more, and visit the practice range as well.
I do know some golfers who have amazing talent don't need to play that often, but most of us do if we ever want to get better.

I guess it really depends on your goals, your lifestyle and the time and resources you have to devote to the game.

In any event, you want the game to be fun!!!

I mostly play golf at weekend too. Specially if my friends invited. To be with friends is a lot more fun that playing alone. And because im still a beginner, im now in the process of practicing a lot to be a pro someday. hopefully, this could be my hidden talent. LOL

Congrats on your goals. If you are serious about becoming a pro, be sure to find a good instructor soon, one that listens to you and helps you with your game. You do not want to get into bad swing habits early on. Get some good instruction and then practice to incorporate what you have learned. Very important.

I can only play twice a week, sometimes one a week and that is during weekends only.

If one's golf season (synonym for "greens are not frozen") is less than 6 months they you have to play a lot during those months.
I have played 70 rounds a year during the last few years or 12 rounds per month or 3 rounds a week. Still married

About once or twice a week avoiding weekends (too crowded)... luckily sunshine here all year long.
