What is the proper position for the wrists? Are they to remain in a fairly fixed position? I've found that if I relax at the top of my backswing slightly and then swing through, I get more of a whip effect and a much more productive and comfortable swing. Please help.

PCS Class 'A' Clubfitter
A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: Wrists
The trick to wrists is to not think about them. If you want your wrists in the proper position from takeaway to impact, put a comb under your watch strap on your left hand. Make sure the back of your left hand touches the comb.
Now, swing. Don't bend the comb, and don't lose touch with it. Let gravity c*ck your wrists at the top.
