    50. It'll help keep the yardage gap consitent.

      Re: what wedge

my first answer is the 50*. Then I started thinking - test them out and check the distances with each club. Then when you are buying a GW, buy one that fills the distance the best between your PW and SW. Typically, that will be the 50*, but not every time.

True Gord - I forgot about the length caveat (amongst other things).

Grab both a 50 and a 52, and see which sandwiches nicely between PW and SW.

Man those Macgregors are strong lofted! My Pro II's are the spot version (stronger pro style lofts) and the wedge is still 47°.

Cleveland do a 51° wedge just for reference.

I would suggest you maybe even try a 51° wedge and a 57° sand wedge if you dont carry a lobber.

              Re: what wedge

I think you need to learn to hit half swing shots inside 70m - and learn to do it with all your wedges. Then you'll have 4 more repeatable shots inside 70m.

                Re: what wedge

In every wedges you use you must have Loft differential minimum 4 degree,

                if your PW : 45, Gap Wedge : 49/50, SW : 54/55, Lob Wedge : 59/60

                good luck
