Anyone got any advise on how to improve my putting stroke
Line is rarely a problem- if i get the line wrong its because Ive misread it! I tend to stab at the ball or to guide it at to the hole instead of the ball getting in the way of my stroke. Basically my backswing is about two inches long at best- I practice trying to make it longer but as soon as it comes to the crunch the old stabbing action comes back as I feel like im losing control of the clubhead with a longer backswing
    Thanks

    Re: Putting stroke

I suggest doing this drill: http://mysite.verizon.net/gregjwillis/LESSON4.htm . Make a diagram of the dimensions too like I did on the carpet with tape. This makes a huge difference if you can putt about 100 balls a day on it. Adjust the ABC lengths to fit your hight...the ones I have there are for my 6'2" frame.
