I`ve just read Dr. Bob`s "Putting out of your mind" and was taken with the completely opposite approach he has to putting when compared with, say, the "foot-meter" method (when you take the putter a certain distance back past your back foot to produce a putt of a certain length)
It just illustrates the difficulty of golf instruction and how one little thought can make a HUGE difference to any aspect of the game - I was watching the Golf Channel (again) the other day and heard a tip saying you should feel like your right foot is "grabbing and holding" the ground when you drive - I tried it and WOW - hitting fairways AND going about 30 yards further.
