    Re: Sidesaddle putting

I've been using the sidesaddle putting technique since last August. It has made a remarkable improvement to my putting. Previously I struggled with the yips and tried many suggestions for a cure. Sidesaddle has eliminated the yips and works remarkably well under pressure. The stroke is very simple, like tossing pennies against a wall. I currently average 31 putts per round and am improving.

i'd like to add to this, sidesaddle putting is the most simple way to putt. you have less moving parts so invariably you will putt better, and more naturally than any other method have a look at this recent article from gary mccord:

      http://www.golfdigest.com/magazine/2...mccord-putting

give a ball to a child and ask them to get the ball into the hole, the instinct will be to face the hole - simple as that!!! if you have not yet tried but would like to, visit www.sidesaddleputters.com, they have high quality, low cost, nice design putters!

        Re: Sidesaddle putting

sidesaddle putting is legal both using the R&A and the USGA rules, you often see top pro players walk up to a one or two inch put and tap the ball in side saddle, both feet facing the hole, most time they just walk up and tap it in and sometimes one handed.
both feet have to be on one side of the ball line. i checked with the R&A two years ago when i first started using this system, there has been no change in the law so far,
        Cheers
