A cheaper option, 2k3, might be to have a club bent so that the bounce is zero. You'll have to buy a club with low bounce (find a cheap PW - they tend to have 3º of bounce, and get the loft bent 3º strong. Sure, now your PW will be as long as your 9 iron, but this is a test.

That is a good idea. I might do it with a cheap 60* wedge (bent to 56*) I may end up with a SW that is very close to zero bounce. I realize that this is may be too much of a bend (break the club) but I have a source of very cheap 60* wedges (one of the pro shops - sells off the found clubs if they are not claimed). Also, I think the wedges are usually made of "softer" steel or iron.

      Thanks

I have Alien 60 Degree SW, pretty weird wedge and only useful to get my ball out from the bunker

        I have Mizuno Presage LW ( I don't know the loft, maybe 58 or 60 )

When I go to course, I usually pitch with my Honma PW or my Cleveland 588 Tour 56.

Anyone have Alien 60 SW ? How to work that iron actually ? ( http://www2.golfshop.com.tw/iproduct...02-SW01RRc.jpg )

Most reviews I've seen say to stay far, far away from alien gear.

Looking at the picture, that's a ridiculously wide sole - guaranteed no fat shots. Also guaranteed to never, ever dig into the sand... which is kind of what you need in bunkers.

Ben is correct. Stay away from Alien. They are one dimensional clubs that do not allow oyu to use them for anything more than what they were designed to do. You can not have any creativity with these clubs. If you have a 'chipper', follow the same advice - get rid of it!

My current Mizuno sand wedge is a 56-07 (the 07 stands for the bounce). It works great in the fiarway, but needs getting a little used to in the bunkers.

                Sorry about that, it's a 56-08 (not 07).

It seems to me you guys are trying to buy your game from the pro. shop. Why not just lay the clubhead face back and make a deliberate out to in swing.Just as effective.

                    Unless it's a tight lie.

I dare you to take your sand wedge and lay it open on the fairway.

Let me know how the blading goes.

The point of the gap wedge is because there's an 8º gap between your PW and SW - too much. The gap wedge makes it so there's 4º between wedges.

If you didn't have a 6 or 8 iron, would you buy one?

I am interested in getting dual bounce wedges and looking at cobra m and phil rodgers, ray cook, mchenry metals and eidolon wedges. If you can please give me more info. about using these types of wedges. I am currently playing a 45-pitch, 55-sand and 60-lob. Any help would be helpful. Thanks
