I have heard a couple of times while watching the European Tour, that the announcers refer to a golfer when making a good shot that the golfer had kept his "right ear" in the correct position. I am assumming they mean the golfer kept his right ear (left ear for lefties) reasonably still through out the swing. "Still" is probably not a good word, as the ear would move as the head turned.
Anyway, comments on this? I have never heard the "ear" referred to by American announcers. Thanks, GJS
