        mattm0824,

What type of ball flight is this shot for you? High, Medium or low (line drive). I'm trying to get a picture of what this shot looks like to you. Does your current shot bounce off the back of the green?

My shot is normally medium-high and my shot normally doesn't go off the back, but it doesn't stop very quickly when i need it to.

How to get a golf ball to stop, and spin back

The things you need to know on how to get your golf ball to spin.

Play the ball in the middle of your stance
The reason- it creates a steeper angle of attack into the ball

Your hands must be leading the clubhead into the ball, this produces a pinching action. You must hit the ball first.
This will induce more spin on your golf ball
