  • Are the arms an extension of the forearms?

I have read on the internet that when you are putting you want your arms to line up with the putter shaft so they form one long line from your shoulders to the clubface, but other places say to hang your arms straight down.

If you hang your arms straight down, the shaft and your arms don't form a line.

What is the best way to set your arms up when you putt?

what ever is comfortable to you, look at all the different style on tour, some of the front foot some off the back some in the middle some open stance some closed some square putting is a personal style, do what you feel best at doing and keep practising.

They do if your nose is directly over the ball as it should be. Like WW says putting is very individual and you should work out what works best for you, there are a few basic tips that help though.
