  • Sub-Full Swing Wedges

    HI All,

The part of my game that needs the most work right now is pitching my wedges less than a full swing. I know I have to hit the practice range, but using which method?

I know Pelz has his "Short Game Bible" and Ledbetter has his system. I appreciate any advice. Who, in your opinions, has the best system for working on this part of the game? Cheers.

For me it is simply finding a repeatable 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 swing then figuring out how far each of your wedges goes when you take a 3/4, 1/2 or 1/4 swing and working from there.

      hi
think leadbetters knows the full swing and teaches it as good if not better than anyone but the short game is plez's, dave plez was the one that started the 4 wedge system and now most pros have at least 3 wedges, before plez.s it was wedge and sand iron.
his book the short game has so many drills and tips if you do as he said your game will get so much better. you will learn more from dave plez about the short game than you will from leadbetter.
