  • A nitpicky request

    Hello Greg,

I was wondering if I could ask for a small change to the operation of the GTO forums?

What I'd like to see changed is when you click the arrow to go to the last post in a topic, it opens in a new window. Clicking the topic link directly would open in the same window.

I ask only because I'm lazy, and don't want to right click. It must be worse for Mac users.

If your using IE7 or better yet Firefox, you can hold the ctrl key down when you click and it will open in a new tab.

Thanks, but rule #1 is never, ever, under any circumstance, use the 'latest and greatest' from Microsoft.

I use IE6, fwiw. I like firefox... but with the amount of time I spend reconfiguring drives, I keep my installs minimal... and firefox doesn't do that much more for me than IE6 (for what I use it for).

I agree with the 'latest and greatest' from microsoft statement or it should be more accurately stated 'newest and buggiest'. But I'm a web developer so I have to test with all the browsers. Firefox is my browser of choice though.
