    Re: Slicing 3 Wood?

And did you use the same brand shaft (ie UST ProForce, etc), or did you switch shafts, too?

        Re: Slicing 3 Wood?

Therein might lay the problem. One shaft mfr's 'R' flex can be another shaft mfr's 'S' flex (or 'A' flex, depending). But you should get the picture. Your Titleist S shaft may have been closer to an R flex than you knew, and your new Graffaloy may be stiffer than your Titleist was, even though it's stamped R.

If the face is open, I'd start with the grip.

Use Gord's grip checking drill, and see what happens.

What happens when you swing easier? Are you throwing your right shoulder?

Maybe it's time for a new 3 wood.

Erm, when i swing slow, it just does the same! im very shure the face is open at impact, i was talking to a freind and he said try it and have a stronger left hand grip, will that work?

Giver a go... but like it's been said elsewhere in this thread: If it's only your 3 wood that's slicing, then maybe it's time for a new 3 wood.

What type of irons do you have? The fact that this is a Titleist fairway wood, it probably has little to no offset. That could be the problem...
