  • equipment question for a newbie

i am in search of new irons and i dont want them fitted because i can use off the shelf clubs but i was wondering if you knew of any distance improving and ultimate forgiveness irons that are a reasonable price range for a 13 yea old.

I don't know too many 13 year olds that can afford the starter set from Walmart, let alone anything better.

If you insist on buying something off the rack, I'd suggest you buy ladies clubs. It's highly unlikely that you have the strength or swing speed to effectively use 'mens' clubs. At least with ladies clubs the flex will be closer to what you likely need, although the length may be off depending on your height.
