    the "swing"

    Could someone please try and explain simply what is meant by "wrist lock" in your swing....obviously I'm new to the game, and still at the stage where a little white ball gets me fustrated

    Hi Julio,

    I not sure what you mean!!!!!!

    I can only assume you mean "wrist set" or setting you wrists on the takeaway.

    Once you take the club away on the backswing it will reach 9.00 o clock that is if someone was standing directly in front of you.

    From that point on your wrists dont need to move again. Just turn your body from that point.

    Have a look at the takeaway on the golf swing section or better still look out for "Nick Faldo's book A swing for life from Marks and Spencer" its great.
