This year golf is at a premium for me. My wife gave birth our son (and second child) in January so with all the extra work, and the fact that I started a new job too, I hadn't even been to the range this year when a buddy called and asked if (I could ask my wife 
) if I could squeeze 9 holes in on Sunday (fathers day). I got the all clear and off we went. Started off a bit rough, but soon got the timing back. Then I stepped onto the 4th tee.....
A par 5 that doglegs round to the right near the green. Great 5w off the tee, bad bounce though put me in the rough. Couldn't see the green when I got to my ball so I hit a nice controlled 24* hybrid right down the centre of the fairway. Get to my ball and I am sitting 25 to 30 feet from the pin, so I grab two clubs and head to the ball.
"Hmmmm, high LW to the pin, or a bump and run with the SW???". Decide on the SW and take a few nice practice swings. Stepped up, hit it crisp and it flew almost all the way to the green bounced twice and *thunk* off the flagstick and into the hole for my first ever EAGLE
After the inital shock I let out a "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! EAGLE!!!!!!!!" "GET IN THERE!!!!!!" "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!".
Dunno when I can get out again, but boy that was fun.
