I'm curious. A few weeks ago, during the coverage of a golf tournament, there was a commercial break. I believe it was the feed from Buffalo, or it could have been Before the screen shifted back to the picture of the coverage, there was a "black" screen interval, and clearly Ian Baker-Finch's Aussie dialect and distinctive voice came through saying "sheep shagger". Then the normal coverage continued, as if there was nothing ado. I was amazed, and to make sure I replayed it on my PRV. Anyways, I expected a formal apology from the network or individuals in the days following, even though it was inadvertent, but as I know it nothing happened.

I suspect it was a rebuke or referral of someone, either in the broadcast team, or it could be at someone else, at the conclusion of off-air conversations by the crew.

I've been curious, if anyone else caught this. I'm imagining that term, is a common Aussie equivalent, of the Western world's "m-f".

It is an endearment with the sheep raising nations: Australia, New Zealand and Wales. You can normally recognise one as they tend to be wearing Velcro gloves and get excited when they see a sheep with it's head caught in a fence.
