    nice way to end the season

    played our works society comp at pennant park in wales today
    the weather was kind so we stayed dry, some of the greens were a bit soft but the course was in good nick considering the weather of late
    shot 13 points on the front due to some appalling putting but shot 23 points on the back parring the last 4 holes
    won the comp by 7 shots and also bagged the LD and NTP prizes

    Congratulations! It was a good day, indeed.

    As for calling an "end to the season", we diehards don't stop. Some courses are open right through the winter here, and we're talking about Canadian winters.

    I'm sure your reference is only to the competitive season.

      Congrats on the win, Pedro, always nice to "clean up" your colleagues...

      The handicapper must have caught up with you by now....???

        Given the way he's performing - a win here, a second there, a great run in the knock out match play - obviously not

            You can do it Slats! Well done, especially on the great back nine score. LD & NP was a bit greedy though
