  • my broken driverS

    Hi All,

I did broke 2 drivers in a week.... but the second one is still in good shape (in my mind).
I had a lesson 2 weeks ago and did some strong changes in my adress to cure my slice... Friday evening, on the driving range, i topped a ball close to where the shaft is attached : a big ball print just under the driver.... the face is not aligned anymore...
Yesterday, i did the same with my new one....ahhhhhhhhhhhhh but the face was not deformed....

I had to find why : my new adress makes me be one inch and a half to close to the ball....

I don't know how long my second one will last... but i am not ready to buy other things than relatively cheap drivers...

    thanks for reading...

Wow, that is a problem with your swing. It could be for so many reasons, that without seeing it, no one here could even speculate.

Until you work out the problem with lessons and/or own diagnosis by studying, experimentation, you should just use the complimentary equipment out of the barrel at the driving range.

      thanks,

The main problem was in my swing plane. During a lesson, my teacher explained to me that in 90% of the time, when someone try to compensate for a little slice (i'm right handed), he usually try to come out to in and of course exagerates his slice. So She said : just try the other way and think you want to kick far away on your right side when rotating...

It works... but i had to change my adress because the club is now swinging in a plane which is maybe 1 or 1 and a half inches away from its precedent position (I hope you understand.....)

THis is what happened twice in a week : i have to think to a lot of things at a time, and twice i did not think of beeing 1 or 2 inches back.

Well, thank you for your answer.
