Ok not a great morning for Europe but a long way to go yet. Ignoring the score though could someone please stop Harmon saying "that's a great golf shot". FFS Butch we know its golf not croquet, cricket, boules or whatever, "great shot" would do or, better stop telling us what we can see for ourselves and earn Sky's money by explaining how the shot was executed.

Re: Great Golf Shot
I'm not supporting either team. The calibre of golf is really exceptional. Even rescue shots from hazards to save par are just great.
I can't imagine Harmon being a commentator. The U.S. coverages for golf seem to have analysts and announcers who have the art of providing insights into shots, techniques, etc. That includes Faldo, Miller, Kostis, etc. I'm not talking about personalities, as these guys can be pompous and overblown at times.
I do like Ayliss.

Re: Great Golf Shot
The presenters include Dan Hicks, Johnny Miller, Gary Koch, Bob Murphy, Roger Maltbie, Mark Rolfing, Dottie Pepper, Jimmy Roberts.
This is the basic NBC crew, who cover tournaments through the year, including some majors.
They are entertaining as a group. They like to banter and have a chuckle along the way.

Re: Great Golf Shot
I prefer to watch European golf matches due to the announcers. They don't tend to get in the way of the game as much as American announcers seem to. Plus the European matches are shown early in the morning over here. The American matches are usually on a delayed broadcast, and by the time it is televised, the out come is already known. GJS
