    They're not wrong - 130 db is enough to damage hearing.

    However, I'm not wearing earplugs on the course (unless my opponent just won't shut up!)

    They acknowledge at the end of the article that players use their hearing to judge feel and how they're playing, "so it may not be for everyone".
