Go to local retailers in your area. Tell them you are putting on an event and you want to ask for any level of sponsership. Tell them how many people will be there, and any of the other sponsers you already have lined up. Tell them you have limited spots available. Create ergency. They will give you 100, 200 whatever you agree to to have their adds posted on the tees. Rank the tees in the amount you want to receive. The first, ninth and 18th holes are 200 each. Every other one is 50...whatever you want to do to get the sponser interested in getting the exposure they want. You may have to talk to 50 retailers to get 5, so be patient. Talk to drycleaners, pizza places, restaurants... privatly owned establishments where the owner makes the decisions. You will get better responses if you have moc signs already setup to show them. Any graphics shop will create or have some demos for you if you setup a deal to go through them. Don't forget to smile at everyone you talk to. Be upbeat about everything.
