A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.

You can check at www.trutemper.com/golf for different step patterns to help identify your shafts.

Re: finding out what shafts i have
I'm going out on a limb and assuming they're TT's. There are different step patterns within the TT line which will tell you which model it is, and even (with tapers) which flex. Of course, if they're parallel, you can hazard a pretty good guess by measuring from the last step to the hosel and adding 1.25" (and then figure out the raw PTS and how much would have been tip trimmed).
They could very well be Apollos (the Commercial is a R/S combo shaft) or a Royal Precision stepped steel (but I'm unaware of an online resource for those step patterns).
