I bought some Callaway X20s last year that haven’t been fitted, and I am looking for a new driver – with a fitting, as well as having my irons fitted.
At a minimum, what kind of technology should the fitter have….. Should they know about launch angle, spin rate, etc.
I usually deal with Golf Town (a major golf franchise in Canada) and I was told the newer stores have newer fitting equipment – the golf town that I usually go to was one of the first in our area – hence older equipment. I thought if I went to Callaway (a Callaway rep told me) that they would just test their newest equipment for me. I am interested in buying last year’s driver with this year’s price.
Thanks,
James
