  • Flyer from the rough

    Here Goes,

For thoses of you who don't understand what a flyer is, this is caused by playing the ball with "water" and,or "Grass" between the ball and the club face.
The result is, the ball flies at least a club lengh further due to the ball having no spin on it.

Question, If you wet your driver(how you do this is up to you) during normal conditions, maybe put a bit of grass on the face before you tee off, the result should be a straight shot due to there being no spin on the ball and at least a club lengh further.

    Food for thought.

    Ian.

No idea, but I would think that it is not all that ethical to spit on your clubs in public!!! 1st tee and all that.
