  • Order of clubs in bag

This is probably a very stupid question but will ask it anyway. Which is the correct placement for the clubs in a trolley bag? Should the woods go nearest to the trolley handle or furthest away?

    Cheers

Re: Order of clubs in bag

No rules, but I like to place the driver and 3w/5w/putter in the tallest bin (probably where you are saying is closet to the handle. Then depending on the number of other bins, 3 irons in each (where you might have 4 in one or 2 in another odd bin outs). Each iron bin should have like numbers together.

    So I have the 2-3-4, 5-6-7, 8-9, Pw,Sw in separated bins.

OK, thanks for that. That's the way I have mine. I have seen pics of them the other way around though.

      Cheers

I have a great bag that has an organiser around the rim (Bennington), this has a shaped slot with a tube for each club, the woods sit in some central dividers. Each club sits in its own slot, cannot rattle against others and is so easy to find. There is also a nice outer tube for the putter.
