  • Carnegie Clark

Hi all, a short while ago I posted a thread about my amazing 7 wood, a persimmon and brass club that has surprised my friends with how well it performs. I have done a little research and I believe it to be an Australian owned and operated company They doen't seem to be a cloning shop and appear to be reasonably up to date technology wise. I am a member with iseek.com an Australian site a little like GTO except not as well organised, My result was 0 replies, so if anyone out there can tell me of their quality and service it would be very much appreciated. Oh yeah they back their product with a 3 year warranty.
    Regards Peter.

    Re: Carnegie Clark

    Hi Peter,

I actually live not very far away from them. They were the the place where I got my first set of clubs from. The quality is ok, the service.......????? and I don't know how the internet service is. If you are looking for a off the rack set of clubs or club, then quality is really not a big issue for you because a poorly fitting top quality club will hit like s... compared to a good fitting poor quality club. My suggestion has been and always will be to only buy clubs that have been fitted for your swing. As far as the type of club you are talking about, they only have fairway metals now as far as I know. If you are hitting really well with this one club I would assume that you are very lucky and have a club that is really well suited to you.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks Christopher, I was beginning to think I drew a total blank.I simply wished to support an Aussie company that has a long history of building quality clubs. The 7wood I own is an absolute scorcher. Never mind it will probably go the way of most and fold unless they can get some quality advertising a pity though having been operating since 1902.
