    IMO you will always have to qualify Tiger's greatness with that "perhaps" until he acquires that certain, almost indefinable grace that really great sportsman have.

    Choosing this example purely for the implied bragging rights over our antipodean friends, if you want to understand what I mean by grace then just check out Ricky Ponting's interview in the immediate aftermath of losing the Ashes (again).

    Nice one Mr Thomson - I think an 80 year old, 5-time Open champion and thorough going gentleman has earned the right to reprimand young Tiger.

    Yes, Robin most apt. Monty could also heed that advice.

    Tiger could look to the example of Ernie, Jack, Phil, Padraig and many others on how to be a golf sporting gentleman
