I just used the free demo for this app on my Blackberry Tour this weekend and I was very impressed. I'm wondering if anyone else has had experience using it or another one like it... There's at least a two-way competition here.
It had all the info for all of the local courses I tested. On each hole it told me distance to front-middle-back of the green from wherever I was standing. It also told me the distance to the front and back of hazards (creeks in this case). That was cool enough but on top of all of that, it allowed me to track my score, the length of my shots coupled with which club was used. It had info on which side of the green I was missing to... greens in regulation... etc. Pretty awesome in my opinion.
The demo was free for 24 hours and the full program costs something like $40 a year. Oh, I almost forgot you also get a personal web page to track your stats. I'm relatively new to golf and totally new to rangefinder devices but, as I said above, I was thoroughly impressed with this app.
