    Winter golf in Berks/Oxon/NHants/W Surrey

    I really need to play more golf through the winter but most of my mates give up around now ...

    Anyone up for playing golf with me within 40-45 minutes from Reading?

    Hi.

    I'm planning to play as much as I can through the winter. I am a member at Waterstock Golf Club, junction 8a M40 which is near Thame, Oxfordshire.

    I am however about 20 handicap and have only been playing for 2 years, so very keen but obviously a little erratic.

    I would imagine you are looking to play with someone who is a more experienced, but of course me thinking selfishly, it is always good for me to play someone better.

      Hi Ken,

      I'd love to play... I know where Waterstock is, I drove passed there over the weekend. I haven't played there but I love playing new courses. I'm a member of Bearwood Golf Club in Reading, just off J-10 of M4.

      Dont worry about playing ability. Trust me, I can hit it sideways and chunck it just like everyone else.
