    Hello,

Is there anything special to take into account when flying and taking clubs/bag/trolley as luggage?

I saw a flight bag in a local shop. Is this recomended? What do you need to look for when buying one?

    Many thanks

    Re: Flying

    Hi Rich,

Get one of the hard case types if your budget will allow, the case may be cheaper than a new set of clubs.

"Have you seen the loaders at the airport, they just through your gear on"

    Good Luck

    Ian.

      Re: Flying

Most of the golf shops around me will rent you a hard case for about $3 a day. Might check into that if you dont fly much.

      Good Luck,

      Nicholas

        Flying

Many thanks for the tips guys.

I've got a proper flight case now. I bought a battered looking old one so that no one thinks that the clubs inside are worth anything!!!

I'm also looking into some rubber fittings so that the graphite shafts don't hit together. They are remarkably brittle.

I also found out that the airline only cover a very small value (around 500 dollars). Its worth checking this before flying.
