  • Firm Left Wrist

    Hi,
Its been a long time since I visited this site.
I'd forgotten how good it is.
I've been struggling with overswing/casting/excessive high ball flight/cut/block..... for all my golf life.
I now seem to have turned a corner....by keeping a firm left wrist.
ie. a slight cup at impact.
this has drastically changed my game but years of hitting balls with the opposite scooping motion is very hard to eradicate.
I see there was an aid "wrist firm" but I cant buy it anywhere.
Anybody got any knowledge of this or maybe an idea where \I can get a good aid ?
    Cheers

    Re: Firm Left Wrist

Hi, good to hear from you again.

You are probably referring to Greg Normans "Secret" This is a device that locks the right wrist in a bent back position, it is to train you to stop flipping your wrists.

Here is a link to an advert for it, I think it is available from many places on the net:

You could try the Tour Striker training club. Excellent for eradicating the flipping action. Go to the Tour Striker website to find out more.
