  • Iron headcovers

Ok, I know that using headcovers for irons is not usually reccommended since they can trap water and sand on the club that can cause damage, but I use them. I really try to take care of my MP-37's and clean and dry them as best I can between shots. Problem is I have lost my 7 iron headcover and can NOT locate it. I can not find anywhere that still makes these headcovers. They are the ORIGINAL Face Saver headcovers made from soft rubber that are not for cavity back irons. They are very small and really only fit the forged blade irons comfortably. Does ANYONE know where these are still sold/manufactured? I tried to Google "Face Saver Iron Headcover" but came back with only the Face Saver Plus ones for cavity back irons. HELP!!!

Have you looked on EBAY? If you cannot locate any just set up a buyer account and put the key words into your favorite searches. Then tick the email me tab and if any are posted you will get an email with a direct link to the auction. I needed a RAM fx2 6 iron because I ran the car over mine, it took me three months but the email eventually came through and £18 including postage it was in my bag.

Check the bottom of your golf bag too - I know I tend to balance my covers on top of the other clubs when taking a shot and they easily fall off.

I use those cheap neoprene covers and just put it in my pocket during a shot. A little wipe on the towel and slip it back on. Keeps the chrome on the Hogans looking great.
