I got a whole in one last week at the Legacy Golf Course in Las Vegas on the sixth whole. I've never broken 100 so you can imagine how excited I was. I ran around like I had won the lottery and the foursome behind us were gracious enough to allow me to have my picture taken on the green holding the flag in one hand and the ball in the other. I shot 103 that day blowing up with triple bogeys on 10, 11, 17 & 18.
When I went back to the pro shop after the round, the guy there just told me congratulations, but my friends told me that that they saw names engraved in stone on the holes where someone had made a whole in one. They also said that the golf course was supposed to register it with the USGA. Has anyone else had this experience? What should have been done?
