The rain moved out around 2 am and by 9 the fog had lifted. Jim didn't show up till almost 10 and the wind was stiff at about 14 mph gusting to 25. He looked at me and said, "are you really going to go out?" He knew I was.
I started with a large bucket of balls, and by the time they were gone, I was hitting fairly good and the wind was starting to subside.
Hole 1 was a double bogey 6 and the next 17 went so-so. I finished with a respectable 76(par 72) and was very pleased. I cannot tell you the euphoria that I am currently feeling. They are forecasting heavy showers for tomorrow, but Friday looks promising.
