Honestly, if I knew it was the last putter I'd ever (have to) buy, I'd be willing to spend upwards of $500, I would think. -

Your putters is the one club that is the most likely to change - even more than your driver! Every time you buy a new putter, do you really think you will ever need another since you just found the perfect one? Putting is all to do with feel and as your body changes and your swing evolves, one day your putter just won't feel right. Or, you'll pick up a case of the y!p$ and try different putters.Comment

Well i just never know what to go with blade or back? as the moment i hav a putter with a back but im looking into getting a blade as i rather the feel and the lineing up system and i hope to get it for £20 like mizuno

I'm acyually looking to get another heel-toe putter... I've currently got a 2 ball clone (mallet), and a belly putter. I made the mistake of selling my old h-t... and I want it back!Comment

I just wanted a putter that had solme feel, and brought a clone off an odessy, very happy with it. But I still need to learn how to putt, so i have a good putter but still need to become a good putter, I paid $80AU for it new where the odessy is normaly $300.Comment

Don't kid yourself, DNA - clones are just that, clones. Inferior quality clubs (compared to the OEM model). I use a 2 ball clone for the alignment system, but have been considering an actual Odyssey 2ball. My chum has an OEM 2ball, and it's lighter with a much, much nicer insert. I'll go component before I ever go clone again. (OK, OK, I'll go OEM before I go clone - component is my first choice.)Comment

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer
Don't go clone. The have weild weightings and quite often have a horrible sound! Go with a component putter if you don't want to pay OEM prices. The difference between component and clone is the clone is just a copy of an OEM where as a component designs and manufactueres their own designs.Comment

If you're handy and don't mind building your own putter take a look at Snake Eyes putter heads, they make some really nice equipment.
