I wish i was lucky enough to get out. Here in Niagara Falls we have about 6-10 inches of the white stuff depending on were you go. The range costs too much so what I do is I have set up a old bed sheet from the ceiling of my bedroom and hit woffel balls into that. I would love to hit real ones but the sheet can't take it. Another down fall of this is that I don't have a very high ceiling so I am limited to the clubs I can use. The good part about it is:
1) I have an old shag rug to hit off of
2) I have a TV and a mirror to look at my swing
3) my wife won't come upstairs when i'm hitting(she thinks i might hit her)
I am hoping the the weather will start to warm up(12 degrees F right now) So I can get out on April 1st(first day some of the local courses open)
Im lucky now it dosent get dark now till about 6ish, so i can get 9holes in after school! and the weather hasent bin too bad, just need to get off the temparoy tees
Hey Pasta - do you know any of the premiere courses across the border? I'm heading down in August/September, and wanted to research some.
I know of one for sure. It is the Legends on The Niagara. They have 2 18's and one 9. The 18's are Battlefield and Ussher's Creek. This past summer the LPGA had the Canadian Womens Open there @ Battlefield...Very Nice I was a volunteer for it....Ussher Creek is more links style but i wasn't able to walk it. It is in Niagara Falls ONT. I'm not sure of any others that are premiere. Here is a site that might help you out.....http://www.golfcanada.com/golf-courses/..any questions let me know.
