Im playing on the Brabazon this Saturday which was an xmas gift from the missus, and must admint am as nervous as hell! Im fairly new to the game, been playing for about 4 months and have had 5 lessons. I generally go round in 100 or just under but wouldnt call myself a 'hacker'!
Ive heard that there is a marshal who announces you on the 1st Tee and asks you to play on the Derby course if you dont look good enough! So tempted to take a 4 iron off the 1st tee....
Anyone played there whats it like, any advice on how to play?

I was in the area a few years ago but the Brabazon was closed so I ended up playing the Derby. I have not fond memories of the day as it was raining heavily. I have heard great things about the Brabazon, good luck on 18
