I play in a golf leauge ever Wed. night tee times from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Since I have joined I have played the worse golf of my life. If you tee off early like 5 or 5:30 the pace of play is steady, anything later is super slow. Just wandering if the pace maybe has something to do with my poor play or could it be we play at night under the lights. Playing in this leauge is the only time I play poor when I play at my club I play my normal game which is 5 handicap. When I play out there it is a 10 handicap. Could it be the pace or the lights or is it all in my head. I have not played before 6 yet. Just wanted to get a few opinons.

Re: A smooth pace?
Pace is definitely something that can throw your game off. What we do when things are slow out on the course is play a game of cut throat. It keeps your mind occupied, it's competative and you work on your short game and aiming. I submitted the rules of the game to golf.about.com: http://golf.about.com/od/golfterms/g..._cutthroat.htm

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
