One thing you can do is close the face on your driver a bit and move the ball back in your stance. Moving the ball back in your stance will get you hitting the ball either on your downswing or at the bottom of your swing instead of on the upswing. Closing the face will keep you from slicing. Because your clubface would end up open if you only moved the ball back in your stance, you need to adjust for an earlier hit.
To hit a 'stinger' like Tiger, you must abbreviate your followthrough, keeping your hands a bit lower as well.
