    Re: Favorite Stick

Kind of a sidepoint ubizmo but yes, basically scoring comes from accuracy not distance. Which brings me neatly back on thread as my favourite club at the moment is my pitching wedge; it has a lovely feel to it whether I'm flying it in from 130 yards or chipping from 20 and is saving me a lot of strokes at the moment. Although my driver is second at the moment as I seem to have added a few yards and real accuracy making previously unreachable par 5s into real birdie opportunities.

      Re: Favorite Stick

My short game up to now has always been average, but over the last 2 months after working on hitting targets playing bump and run when chipping, my PW is now my new favourite club. My last round I had 28 putts, and 7 of those were 1 putts under 2 feet (a few were mere inches) for pars. Amazingly, I didn't sink 1 chip, but all had a chance.

        Re: Favorite Stick

I'd have to call my fave a tie between my Wilson Deep Red 5w (sweet high path from all sorts of strange lies ... 190yds off the fairway or teed low) and my Nike TW 60deg Lob Wedge (massive spin, multi-purpose ... cuts grass well, drops and stays well, plays well from the bunker too). I'm considering adding the TW 56deg Sand Wedge to my bag based on the LW experience, but it saddens me that no GW and PW are available in the TW series, so I might just stay with my Wilson wedges for the rest of the distances.

Would consider a Deep Red 7w too, if I was able to find a Series One with a Stiff Grafalloy shaft, but the lucky owners of such a club seem to be keeping them (wonder why )

My absolute favorite thing in bag bag is either the penguin on my driver or my nike sv 52. Since i got this wedge i dropped my others and play a P and that 52.
