Re: handicap?
Hi Everton121,
When you join a club you will need to hand in three competition cards of the back tees for your h/capp to be calculated.
I have calculated your last 4 scores at 12.2 H/capp if they were off the back tees, which you may find a little harder, however for two years this is great progress and a credit to your golf.
42 does this have any relevence, I don't think so.
Good luck
Ian.
P.S join a club and play more comps it will improve your game.

Re: handicap?
If you need a place to calculate your index from now on you can go here:
http://www.golfhound.com/
They have a free (unofficial) index program you can use. I have an official GHIN number but this website lets me see where I am on a round to round basis since the GHIN service only updates every month or 2 weeks during the summer.Last edited by bparker; 06-15-2005, 01:36 AM.

A new highlight: Golfing the home course on Christmas Day.
I say it too often: If it's golf club shaped, you can play with it.
For the record, I'm a club doctor, not a swing doctor.
Re: handicap?
In North America, yes.
In the rest of the world, IIRC, they've got the SSS (standard scratch score). No need for slope there, AFAIK.
